\nMRI Technologist
\nJob Details:
\n• Work Thursday through Saturday, 10:00 AM to 10:30 PM
\n • Blocked scheduling type with 36 hours of unit orientation
\n • No call requirement, no float requirement, and no additional weekend requirement
\n • Minimum of 2 years of experience required
\n • Travel experience required
\n • Local candidates accepted
\n • Perform general MRI exams including MSK, neurological, and body cases
\n • Some anesthesia cases involved; no biopsies or procedures performed in MRI
\n • Work with GE 1.5T 450W scanner, GE 1.5T Artist scanner, Phillips Physiological Monitors, and Iradimed Medicine Pump
\n • Required work settings experience: Adult Acute Care, Adult Outpatient, and ER/Trauma
\n • Required imaging skills include: abdominal MRA/MRV, MRCP, brain, cranial nerves, face/soft tissue neck, head MRA/MRV, orbits, musculoskeletal imaging (foot, hand, hip, knee, shoulder, sternum, upper and lower extremity long bones, temporomandibular joint), spine (cervical, lumbar, sacrum/coccyx, thoracic, thoracic MRA), CINE, diffusion, gradient echo imaging, image post-processing, MIP, multiplanar reconstruction, peripheral MRA, spin echo images, surface coils, T-1 and T-2 weighted images
\n • Required professional skills: isolation precautions, preparation and administration of contrast media, starting peripheral IVs
\n • Required equipment experience: GE and PACS
\n • Preferred experience includes: Adult ICU, Pediatric Acute Care, Pediatric Outpatient, breast imaging, Phillips equipment, perfusion, and spinal trauma
\n • Documentation system: Epic
\n • Communication system: SBAR
\n • Patient age groups served: adolescents, adults, pediatrics, and geriatrics
\n • Required certifications: ARRT MR, ARRT R, BLS
\n • Scrub color: Royal Blue
\n • Maximum pre-approved time off: 7 days

\nThis is a general community hospital offering a broad range of imaging and diagnostic services across multiple patient populations. The facility handles MSK, neurological, and body cases and provides interdisciplinary support including respiratory services, interpretation services, phlebotomy, radiology, social services, rapid response teams, pharmacy, and transportation. The MRI department is equipped with modern GE and Phillips technology and supports adult and pediatric patient care across acute and outpatient settings.
