About the Position\n

Our client is seeking an experienced CDL-A Flatbed Driver to support local operations in the Odenton area. This temp-to-hire opportunity offers steady work, reliable scheduling, daily home time, and the potential for permanent placement.

• Pay: $27-$28 per hour

• Schedule: Monday through Friday, first shift

• Hours: 40 hours per week

• Home Time: Home daily

Key Responsibilities\n

\n
• Safely operate a CDL-A flatbed tractor-trailer on local routes.
\n
• Transport concrete and building materials in accordance with DOT and safety standards.
\n
• Secure and unload freight using required strapping techniques.
\n
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections.
\n
• Maintain accurate logs and delivery paperwork.
\n
• Communicate effectively with dispatch and operations teams.
\n
• Meet the physical demands of the position, including frequent strapping activities.
\n

Minimum Requirements\n

\n
• Valid CDL-A license.
\n
• 2+ years of recent, relevant, and verifiable driving experience.
\n
• Previous flatbed driving experience.
\n
• Experience operating flatbed equipment.
\n
• Clean Motor Vehicle Record, with no major traffic violations or preventable accidents in the last 3 years.
\n
• Must meet all DOT and FMCSA requirements.
\n
