Job Title: Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) – Laboratory

\n Shift: Day Shift (06:00–14:30)
\n Schedule Type: 5x8-hour shifts

\n JOB DESCRIPTION:
\n Providence Saint Joseph Hospital is seeking a Clinical Laboratory Scientist (CLS) for a 13-week travel assignment in a fast-paced hospital laboratory. The CLS will perform generalist laboratory testing in Hematology, Coagulation, Chemistry, Urinalysis, Serology, Limited Microbiology, and Blood Bank while ensuring accurate, timely, and high-quality patient results.
\n Responsibilities include specimen collection and processing, performing manual and automated testing, maintaining quality assurance and control standards, documenting results, and collaborating with the healthcare team. Recent Blood Bank experience is required; antibody identification experience is not required.

\n Required Qualifications:
\n Minimum 1 year of hospital Clinical Laboratory Scientist experience
\n Community hospital experience
\n Recent Blood Bank experience
\n Generalist laboratory experience

\n Certification:
\n ASCP Certification – Required

\n Preferred Experience:
\n Acute care hospital laboratory experience
\n Trauma or high-volume laboratory experience
\n Travel experience not required
