\n 🛏️ Bed Size: 0–49 (36 licensed inpatient beds, 10 ICU beds)
\n 🖥️ EMR: Meditech
About the Role:
\n Great Falls Clinic Medical Center is expanding cardiac services and urgently needs a Critical Care–trained CVICU RN. You'll care for immediate post-operative open heart patients from day one, along with a broad cardiac/critical care population — pre/post PCI, pacemaker, revascularization, carotid endarterectomy, thoracotomy, CHF, COPD, DKA, renal failure, DVT, PE, sepsis, and general surgical patients. Also acts as a clinical leader, assisting with precepting staff.
Requirements:
\n ✅ Recent Open Heart Recovery Nurse experience required — must be trained to care for immediate post-op open heart patients starting day one
\n ✅ Recent critical care experience required
\n ✅ Current Montana RN license
\n ✅ Current BLS
\n ✅ Current ACLS
\n ✅ Current PALS
\n ✅ Minimum 2 years of experience
\n ✅ Skilled with A-lines, chest tubes, central lines, multiple IV pumps, NG tubes, continuous bladder irrigation, and short-term ventilatory support
\n ✅ Basic cardiac telemetry and EKG interpretation
\n ✅ No holiday coverage required
