Medical Laboratory Technician - AlaskaJob Opportunity – Medical Laboratory Technician – Alaska
\nStart Date: ASAP
\nLocation: Alaska
\nCompensation: Details provided to qualified applicants
\nSchedule: Variable shifts, 5x8-hour shifts (evenings and nights). Guaranteed 72 hours per two-week period. On-call rotation every 4 weeks for 1 week (6pm-12am Monday-Friday, plus weekend call). No regular weekend shifts unless on-call.

- Assignment length flexible: 13 or 26 weeks, traveler's choice \n
- Critical Access Hospital with 40 staffed beds using Epic EMR \n
- Comprehensive lab experience including Blood Bank, CMP, CPC, COVID, FLU, and urine analysis \n
- Facility-provided housing and rental vehicle included throughout assignment \n
- Free parking and block schedule accommodations available \n
- Floating within scope may be required to meet facility needs \n
Requirements:
\n- \n
- ASCP MLT or MLS certification required \n
- BLS certification preferred \n
- Minimum 1 year of Medical Laboratory Technician experience \n
- Proficiency in Blood Bank, chemistry panels, COVID/FLU testing, and urinalysis \n
- Epic charting system experience required \n
- Valid state license (pending licenses accepted, allow 10-12 weeks for processing) \n
- Previous travel experience required; first-time travelers not accepted \n
- Must reside at least 50 miles from facility location \n
- Hepatitis B vaccination required (titers and declinations not accepted) \n
- Two professional references covering 1 year within the last 3 years \n
- Willingness to work 2 out of 3 major holidays (Thanksgiving, Christmas, New Year) \n
- Valid driver's license and proof of auto insurance with rental car coverage \n
