Shift:
Must be available for assigned shift, including overtime and weekend work as required.
2nd Shift: Monday–Friday, 2:45 PM–11:15 PM | $14.42/hr.
3rd Shift: Sunday–Thursday, 11:00 PM–7:00 AM | $14.27/hr.

A manufacturing facility in Jamestown is seeking Furnace Operators to support its production team. This position is responsible for operating and monitoring industrial sintering furnaces used in the heat-treating process of metal components. The ideal candidate is safety-focused, dependable, and capable of working in a fast-paced manufacturing environment while maintaining quality and production standards.

Responsibilities:
-Operate and monitor industrial furnaces used in the heat-treatment and sintering process
-Load and unload parts, trays, and baskets into furnace systems
-Monitor furnace temperatures, cycle times, and process controls to ensure product quality
-Perform routine inspections of parts before and after furnace processing
-Record production data and maintain accurate process documentation
-Identify and report equipment malfunctions, process deviations, or quality concerns
-Perform basic furnace cleaning and routine maintenance tasks as assigned
-Safely handle materials and products throughout the production process
-Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work environment
-Follow all safety procedures, quality standards, and company policies
-Assist in other production departments as needed

Requirements:
-Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
-Previous manufacturing, furnace operation, heat-treat, or industrial production experience preferred but not required
-Ability to follow detailed work instructions and process specifications
-Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
-Ability to work safely around hot equipment and elevated temperatures
-Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive tasks throughout the shift
-Ability to regularly lift 20–40 lbs. and occasionally up to 50 lbs.
-Comfortable working in a dusty, noisy, and non-temperature-controlled manufacturing environment
-Reliable transportation and consistent attendance
-Willingness to work overtime and weekends as needed
