Admissions Director

Andover Forest Post Acute Care Center is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our team in a full-time position.The Admissions Director will oversee the admissions process, coordinate patient referrals, and serve as a liaison between hospitals, families, and the facility. The ideal candidate will have experience with admissions, insurance verification, business development, and relationship-building within the healthcare community.Responsibilities:Manage the admissions process from referral through admissionReview clinical referrals and facilitate admission decisionsVerify insurance coverage and obtain authorizationsDevelop relationships with hospitals, discharge planners, and referral sourcesConduct facility tours and meet with prospective residents and familiesSupport census growth through marketing and business development effortsMaintain knowledge of MassHealth, Medicare, and Medicaid programsComplete admission documentation and ensure complianceCollaborate with interdisciplinary teams to ensure smooth patient transitionsQualifications:Healthcare admissions, intake, case management, marketing, or business development experience preferredExperience with insurance verification, authorizations, and MassHealth preferredWorking knowledge of Medicare and MedicaidFamiliarity with skilled nursing, rehabilitation, post-acute care, or sub-acute rehabilitation settings preferredExcellent communication, organizational, and multitasking skillsCompensation & Benefits:$55,000 - $75,000 per yearMedical, dental, vision, 401(k), PTO, and moreApply today to join a team dedicated to exceptional care and service.
