We are currently seeking a Director of Admissions.
Job Responsibilities and Duties:
Direct and oversee admissions programs and policies for all facilities across multiple states
Develop and implement organization-wide strategies to maximize appropriate admissions and census management
Establish standardized best practices while accommodating state-specific regulatory requirements
Build and maintain relationships with regional healthcare networks, hospital systems, and referral partners
Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and reimbursement environments across different regions
Monitor and evaluate the performance of facility-level admissions teams, providing guidance and support
Create and track KPIs for admissions across all facilities, identifying opportunities for improvement
Coordinate with regional directors to implement unified admissions protocols and procedures
Lead training initiatives for admissions staff throughout the organization
Ensure compliance with federal regulations and varying state-specific requirements
Collaborate with executive leadership to align admissions strategies with organizational goals
Oversee the development and utilization of centralized admissions technologies and systems
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred
Minimum 7-10 years of progressive admissions experience in skilled nursing facilities, with at least 3 years in multi-site management
Demonstrated success in managing admissions across multiple facilities or regions
Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance systems across multiple states
Experience with healthcare regulations in multiple jurisdictions
Strong understanding of census management and revenue cycle in skilled nursing environments
Proven leadership ability with experience managing geographically dispersed teams
Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with healthcare data systems
Excellent strategic planning and implementation abilities
Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
