Director of Marketing & Admissions (DOMA)

We are currently seeking a Director of Admissions.

Job Responsibilities and Duties:

• Direct and oversee admissions programs and policies for all facilities across multiple states

• Develop and implement organization-wide strategies to maximize appropriate admissions and census management

• Establish standardized best practices while accommodating state-specific regulatory requirements

• Build and maintain relationships with regional healthcare networks, hospital systems, and referral partners

• Analyze market trends, competitive landscapes, and reimbursement environments across different regions

• Monitor and evaluate the performance of facility-level admissions teams, providing guidance and support

• Create and track KPIs for admissions across all facilities, identifying opportunities for improvement

• Coordinate with regional directors to implement unified admissions protocols and procedures

• Lead training initiatives for admissions staff throughout the organization

• Ensure compliance with federal regulations and varying state-specific requirements

• Collaborate with executive leadership to align admissions strategies with organizational goals

• Oversee the development and utilization of centralized admissions technologies and systems

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s degree in healthcare administration, nursing, or related field preferred

• Minimum 7-10 years of progressive admissions experience in skilled nursing facilities, with at least 3 years in multi-site management

• Demonstrated success in managing admissions across multiple facilities or regions

• Extensive knowledge of Medicare, Medicaid, and private insurance systems across multiple states

• Experience with healthcare regulations in multiple jurisdictions

• Strong understanding of census management and revenue cycle in skilled nursing environments

• Proven leadership ability with experience managing geographically dispersed teams

• Advanced analytical skills and proficiency with healthcare data systems

• Excellent strategic planning and implementation abilities

• Outstanding communication and relationship-building skills
