Machine Saw Operator
Location: Coppell, TX
Pay Rate: $18.00hr - $19.00hr
Are you an experienced Machine Saw Operator who takes pride in accuracy and craftsmanship? Summit Staffing for 1st and 2nd shift to work in a fast-paced woodworking and manufacturing environment in Coppell, TX. This is a contract-to-hire role with opportunities to grow and work with cutting-edge equipment.
Shift:
- 1st Shift: 6:00 AM - 2:30 PM - Monday - Friday
- 2nd Shift: 2:30 PM – 11:00 PM - Monday – Friday
What You’ll Do:
- Operate TigerStop, panel, or automated saw equipment to cut materials to exact specifications
- Read and follow blueprints, job sheets, and cutting plans
- Set up, adjust, and perform minor maintenance on machinery
- Measure and inspect materials for accuracy and quality
- Maintain a safe, organized, and efficient workspace
- Follow all safety protocols while operating machinery
What We’re Looking For:
- 1+ year operating panel saws, or similar wooden saw machinery
- Ability to read measurements, cutting specifications, and technical drawings
- Mechanical aptitude and experience with hand/power tools
- Strong attention to detail and quality
- Dependable, punctual, and able to work independently
Preferred:
- Experience in woodworking, manufacturing, or panel cutting
- Familiarity with production workflows and material optimization
Work Environment:
- Manufacturing and woodworking shop setting
- Standing and operating machinery throughout your shift
- Lifting materials up to 50 lbs
- Required PPE: steel-toed shoes, safety glasses, hearing protection
- Exposure to wood dust and production materials
