Our mission is to empower children to reach their full potential and we are seeking a talented Occupational Therapist (OT) Evaluator to join our team.

About the Role:

As an Occupational Therapist (OT) Evaluator, you will play a vital role in our evaluation process, providing thorough and accurate assessments to help us develop individualized treatment plans for our young clients. You will work closely with our multidisciplinary team to identify the unique needs of each child and create targeted interventions to support their growth and development. Your expertise and compassion will help us deliver the highest quality services to the children and families we serve.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations to identify children's strengths, weaknesses, and developmental delays

• Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with our team

• Provide occupational therapy services to children, including both individual and group sessions

• Collaborate with parents, caregivers, and other professionals to ensure seamless communication and coordination

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client assessments and treatment plans

• Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay current with best practices and industry developments

Compensation
$180 per evaluation, fee for service

Qualifications 

• Master's degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited university program. 

• New York State Occupational Therapy Licensure 

• DOE PETS Fingerprint clearance (we will assist with this!). 

• Cannot be a current DOE employee or a DOE employee within the last 366 days.
