Responsibilities:

• Assist with the administration of medications to residents, under the supervision of a licensed nurse

• Monitor and report changes in resident condition, vital signs, and medication reactions

• Provide personal care assistance, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as eating, mobility, and hygiene

• Document resident care and medication administration in accordance with company policies

• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement individualized care plans

• Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting a positive and dignified living environment

Requirements:

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• Certification as a Medication Aide (CMA) in the state of Texas

• Strong communication and interpersonal skills

• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks

• Basic life support (BLS) training certified or willingness to obtain within 4 months of hire
