Director of Admissions

Admissions Director Requirements:

• Implement marketing strategies and promotional activities including, but not limited to planning educational lunches in and out of the building

• Meets with key referral sources e.g. Eldercare Attorneys, Senior Centers, Physician's offices, hospitals

• Researches physicians in our targeted area to partner with our facility

• Should be familiar with Philadephia area and the surrounding community

• Sell and promotes facility services in PA

• Build sales within assigned area according to goals

• Must be creative, self-motivated, and have a pleasant and helpful disposition.

• Must have long term care experience as an external liaison or marketer

• Must possess effective written and verbal communication skills, problem solving skills, and apply good judgment based on the principles of sound management
• Respond to SWs at hospitals and other facilities about referrals

• Familiar with Medicare, Medicaid, HMO

• Familiar with PCC

• Present tours of facility to perspective residents

• Sign admissions agreements
• Attend weekly UR meetings 

Job Type: Full-time

Admissions Director Schedule:

• 8 hour shift

• Day shift

• Monday to Friday

Admissions Director Education:

• Associate (Preferred)

Admissions Director Experience:

• Healthcare Admissions: 1 year (Preferred)

• Sales: 1 year (Preferred)

• Marketing: 1 year (Preferred)

• Skilled Nursing Facility: 1 year (Preferred)
