About this job
Job Description
Two litigation paralegal seats are open at a national plaintiff's firm in Tampa, and the firm would rather hire the right person from Sarasota or Bradenton than the convenient person from around the corner.
Here is the honest picture. The docket is mass tort: document-heavy, deadline-driven, and personal — your files belong to real families going through the worst of it. The firm's own hiring history says it values professionalism, polish, and follow-through above a long resume; its last hire won the seat on exactly that.
The non-negotiables: a minimum of eight months of hands-on litigation experience at a law firm; on-site work in Tampa, Monday through Friday, so the commute has to genuinely work for you; and a commitment to paralegal work as a profession — this seat is not a waypoint on the road to law school.
Toxic tort, asbestos, or personal injury experience helps, but is not required.
Compensation is competitive and commensurate with experience. Inquiries are confidential.
