About the Role:
The Applied Behavior Center for Autism is seeking an experienced Clinical Psychologist/HSPP to assess, diagnose, and treat children and teens with suspected mental, emotional, and/or behavioral disorders such as Autism Spectrum Disorder and ADHD. Flexibility in work location and hours allows you to balance direct client care with administrative responsibilities and professional development.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Doctoral degree (PhD or PsyD) in Clinical Psychology from an accredited institution.
- Current and valid license to practice psychology (HSPP) in the state of Indiana
- Demonstrated experience in conducting psychological assessments and providing psychotherapy.
- Strong knowledge of DSM-5 diagnostic criteria and evidence-based treatment modalities.
- Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule effectively.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with telehealth platforms and delivering remote psychological services.
- Specialization or additional training in areas such as trauma, child and adolescent psychology, or neuropsychology.
- Familiarity with integrated care models and interdisciplinary collaboration.
- Research experience or contributions to peer-reviewed publications.
- Bilingual proficiency to serve diverse client populations.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct thorough psychological assessments and diagnostic evaluations using standardized tools such as the ADOS-II, CARS, GARS, GADS, VBAS-II, and ABAS-II
- Complete written reports including assessment findings and recommendations to families
- Effectively communicate with company staff and patient’s families
Review and approved orders for ancillary services such as speech and occupational therapy of patients - Collaborate with families and healthcare professionals including BCBAs, speech, and occupational therapists to coordinate comprehensive care.
- Maintain accurate and confidential clinical records in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
- Manage a flexible schedule that includes both in-person and telehealth sessions to accommodate client needs.
