We are seeking a motivated Optometrist to join an established practice in Newton, NC! Known as one of the best places to live in North Carolina, Newton is positioned in the triangle formed by Asheville to the northwest, Winston-Salem to the northeast, and Charlotte to the southeast, all within an hour-and-a-half drive!

4 exam lanes + 1 pre-test room + 1 special testing room + each OD has their own office!

18-20 patients per day
Strong staff support: Techs, Opticians, Front Desk, Office Manager
Techs do full work-ups
Cutting-edge technology: OCT, Optos, MacuLogix (Dark Adaptation Testing), IPL, Low Level Light Therapy, Visual Field (virtual), Corneal Topography, iCare Tonometer, EMR
SCHEDULE
Full Time = 4-4.5 days per week
Monday-Friday
No weekends!
Hours:
Monday & Tuesday, 9AM-6PM
Wednesday & Thursday, 8AM-5PM
Friday, 8AM-2PM (last patient at 12PM, OD can leave after)
Part Time options also available
COMPENSATION + BENEFITS:
Base + Quarterly Production Bonus
Year 1 Potential: $150,000-$180,000 (depending on experience and schedule)
Year 2 Potential: $180,000-$200,000

**All states require Optometrists to be licensed. The ideal candidate must have obtained an O.D. Degree from an Accredited Optometry School and must have completed all sections of the National Board of Examiners in Optometry Exam.**
