**Position Description & Qualifications**
Serco North America is seeking a **Program & Data Analyst** to provide a programmatic, analytical, and operational support for a major U.S. Navy modernization and sustainment program at the Washington Navy Yard in Washington, DC.
**The ability to obtain/maintain/transfer a U.S. Department of War (DoW) Secret security clearance.**
In this role, you will serve as a key contributor supporting program execution, stakeholder coordination, data analysis, and reporting activities across Navy and Department of War organizations. You will bridge the gap between raw data and business decision-making by collecting, validating, analyzing, and presenting information that enables informed, data-driven decisions.
The successful candidate will possess strong analytical, organizational, and communication skills and thrive in a fast-paced environment supporting critical Navy mission requirements.
In this role, you will:
**Data Analysis & Reporting**
+ Collect, validate, and maintain data from multiple sources to ensure accuracy, integrity, and reliability.
+ Analyze complex datasets and identify trends, risks, and opportunities using established analytical methods.
+ Develop and maintain reports, dashboards, charts, and visualizations utilizing tools such as Microsoft Power BI and Tableau.
+ Prepare recurring and ad hoc reports to support program leadership and stakeholder decision-making.
+ Monitor program metrics and assist in evaluating program performance and effectiveness.
**Administrative & Program Support**
+ Prepare, review, edit, and maintain correspondence, reports, meeting materials, briefings, and presentations.
+ Maintain program documentation, records, databases, and file management systems.
+ Track program activities, action items, and milestones.
+ Provide administrative support for meetings, working groups, and project-related activities.
+ Assist in developing and maintaining standard operating procedures and program documentation.
**Stakeholder Coordination**
+ Coordinate and communicate with Navy headquarters personnel, fleet representatives, shipyard personnel, and other government stakeholders.
+ Support information flows between organizations to ensure timely execution of program priorities.
+ Facilitate coordination efforts and assist leadership in tracking actions and resolving issues.
**Compliance & Process Improvement**
+ Ensure adherence to established program office procedures, standards, and reporting requirements.
+ Support continuous process improvement initiatives by identifying opportunities to improve data quality, reporting efficiency, and administrative processes.
+ Maintain records and documentation in accordance with company policies and government requirements.
To be successful in this role, you will have:
+ **U.S. Citizenship.**
+ **The ability to obtain and maintain a Secret security clearance** .
+ A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Data Analytics, Management, Information Systems, or related discipline. Additional relevant experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree.
+ 2 years of professional experience supporting government, military, defense, or related programs.
+ Experience performing administrative, analytical, or program support functions.
+ To be proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite, including:
+ Excel
+ Word
+ Outlook
+ PowerPoint
+ Experience utilizing advanced Excel functions such as Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, filtering, and data analysis tools.
+ Strong written and verbal communication skills.
+ To demonstrate organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
+ The ability to work independently while contributing effectively within a team environment.
+ The ability to travel 10%.
Preferred Qualifications:
+ Prior experience supporting Navy, Department of Defense, or federal government programs.
+ Experience supporting shipyard, maintenance, modernization, sustainment, or submarine-related programs.
+ Knowledge of Navy organizational structure and operational processes.
+ Experience using data visualization tools such as:
+ Microsoft Power BI
+ Tableau
+ Looker
+ Experience with SQL database queries and data management.
+ Familiarity with government contracting processes.
+ Experience with document management and records management systems.
+ Knowledge of NAVSEA, Team Submarine, and related Navy policies and procedures.
+ Prior active-duty military service, particularly within the submarine community.
+ Experience supporting Navy acquisition programs or submarine program offices.
Additional Information
+ Regular onsite attendance is required five days per week, except for government holidays and approved exceptions.
+ Occasional local travel may be required in support of program objectives.
