About the role

We keep vessels mission‑ready across the Gulf Coast. As our Shipboard Electrical Systems Specialist, you’ll be the go‑to expert for installation, upkeep, and repair of critical marine electrical systems.

You will

• Install, commission, and repair shipboard electrical and control systems.
• Rapidly troubleshoot electrical issues and implement durable solutions.
• Execute scheduled inspections and preventive maintenance plans.
• Coordinate with welders, mechanics, and project managers to align timelines.
• Apply safety procedures and maritime regulations on every task.
• Record all work in detail, including diagnostics, repairs, and installations.
• Monitor industry innovations and adopt best‑practice techniques.

You bring

• High school diploma or equivalent; electrical technical certification preferred.
• Proven background as a marine electrician or similar shipboard role.
• Solid command of wiring methods, power distribution, and troubleshooting.
• Familiarity with maritime codes, standards, and safe‑work practices.
• Proficiency reading schematics, prints, and technical diagrams.
• Strong analytical mindset with meticulous attention to detail.
• Effective communicator who collaborates well across disciplines.
• Willing to work flexible hours and travel throughout the Gulf Coast.

Work environment

Field‑based across Gulf Coast facilities and vessels. You’ll join a tight‑knit, safety‑first team that values precision, accountability, and teamwork.
