Radiology Tech

Educational & Experience Requirements

• Minimum high school diploma or GED
• Graduate from an accredited school of Radiology
• Current Louisiana Radiology Licensure
• Current ARRT and CPR Certification
• CT experience required

Additional Requirements

• Physical abilities to include but not limited to ability to lift in excess of 50 lbs. on a regular basis. On an occasional basis constant repetitious movement, bending, stooping, walking and standing for long periods of time and ability to push 100 lbs.
• Communication skills are essential in order to greet patients, perform ordered tests, and work as a team with physicians and fellow employees.
• Must have a professional and friendly attitude.
• Be organized and have the ability to follow directions while multi-tasking in high stress situations.
• Must be detail-oriented to ensure the quality of patient imaging.
• Must be professional in appearance because they are representing the hospital
