Nurse Practitioner

CardioClinic in Katy, TX is looking for a passionate and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our dedicated cardiovascular care team. Responsibilities:

• Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including history-taking and physical examinations for cardiovascular conditions
• Diagnose and manage acute and chronic cardiac conditions in collaboration with attending cardiologists
• Order and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs, and lab work
• Develop and implement individualized patient care plans and treatment protocols
• Prescribe medications and manage pharmacological therapies for cardiac patients
• Educate patients and families on cardiovascular health, disease management, and preventive care
• Coordinate care with multidisciplinary teams, specialists, and ancillary staff

Requirements:

• Active Nurse Practitioner license in the state of Texas (APRN)
• Master's or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN or DNP) from an accredited program
• Board certification as a Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP-C) or Adult-Gerontology NP (AGPCNP-BC)
• Experience in cardiology, internal medicine, or a related clinical specialty preferred
• Proficiency in interpreting EKGs and cardiovascular diagnostic studies
• Strong clinical decision-making, communication, and patient education skills
• DEA registration or eligibility to obtain
