Openwork is hiring a Warehouse Associate for a growing distribution company in Midland, TX. We're looking for someone with hands-on warehouse experience who is dependable, hardworking, and ready to become part of a team-focused operation.
This position is ideal for someone with 1+ year of warehouse experience who enjoys staying active, keeping materials organized, and helping daily operations run smoothly.
Schedule Requirement: Candidates must be willing to transition to 2nd Shift upon permanent hire.
What You'll Be Doing:
- Pick and pack customer orders accurately.
- Receive, stock, and organize incoming materials.
- Stage and move products throughout the warehouse.
- Assist with general material handling.
- Maintain warehouse and yard cleanliness.
- Keep work areas organized and safe.
- Assist with additional warehouse responsibilities as needed.
- Follow company procedures and safety requirements.
What We're Looking For:
- 1+ year of warehouse, picking/packing, shipping/receiving, inventory, or material-handling experience required.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Ability to follow instructions and complete tasks accurately.
- Reliable attendance and punctuality.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Willingness to learn and support different areas of the operation.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Must be willing to transition to 2nd Shift if hired permanently.
Dress Code & Safety:
Employees should maintain a clean and professional appearance since customers may occasionally enter the warehouse.
- Business casual work attire.
- Appropriate shorts are permitted.
- Steel-toe shoes or boots required.
