About the Role:
Specialty Office in Charlotte, NC is looking for a dedicated and compassionate Infusion Registered Nurse to join our growing clinical team. Responsibilities:
- Administer IV infusion therapies including biologics, and other specialty medications
- Assess, monitor, and document patient responses to infusion treatments throughout each visit
- Establish and maintain peripheral IV access and manage central venous access devices (CVADs)
- Educate patients and caregivers on infusion therapy, side effects, and home care instructions
- Collaborate with physicians, and care team members to ensure safe and effective treatment plans
- Identify and respond to adverse reactions or complications in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate and thorough patient records in compliance with regulatory and clinical standards
- Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of North Carolina
- Minimum 1-2 years of infusion, oncology, or IV therapy nursing experience preferred
- Proficiency in peripheral IV insertion and central line management
- Strong knowledge of infusion medications, protocols, and safety procedures
- BLS/CPR certification required
- Excellent patient communication, critical thinking, and clinical assessment skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced clinical setting
