Looking to fill the Host/Hostess position, but this Job is more than seating guests at a table.

The position includes but is not limited to:

Setting up the dining room and arranging tables spaced correctly to gain the maximum number of guests during one seating.
Handling and expediting reservations and table allocations.
Answering phones, taking to-go orders answering questions about the menu, and food allergies but not limited to.
Coordinating dining room service by spacing out reservations correctly as well as handling walk-in dining service and coordinating the servers' tables by ensuring immaculate guest experience while Managing activities of the servers and/or the bus persons for clean tables.
Working closely with Chefs to act as a liaison between the guest and the kitchen.
Must be able to work at our busiest days and times, weekends and holidays are required. Summer is the busiest season.
Must be organized, multi tasking skills, self starter skills, be able to manage a busy wait list and be able to move reservations around to accommodate walk ins and reservations.
Must have experience working in a restaurant or hotel setting.
