  • Trauma Level: Level IV
  • EMR System: Epic
  • Specialty Backup Available: Telecardiology and Telestroke available 24/7
  • Support Staffs:
    • ED APC: 12p-10p
    • UC APC: 8a-8p (M-F); 8a-4p (weekend & holidays)
  • 24-hr Services: Anesthesia, General Surgery, Laboratory, OR Response Time
  • Other Info:
    • Newborn deliveries are received in the ED
    • Dual Coverage: ED & UC
PRIVILEGES & COMPLIANCE

JOB REQUIREMENTS
  • Board: BC/BE (BC in EM for Rhinelander, Tomahawk)
  • Licenses: WI license or willing to obtain
  • Certifications: BLS, ATLS
  • Clean record (Rhinelander, Tomahawk)
Duties & Responsibilities
  • Provide comprehensive emergency medical care to patients in the Emergency Department and Urgent Care settings.
  • Manage approximately 40-60 patients per day in a Level IV trauma center with dual provider coverage.
  • Collaborate with telecardiology and telestroke services for 24/7 consultation.
  • Supervise and coordinate with Advanced Practice Clinicians (APCs) during scheduled shifts.
  • Ensure accurate documentation and compliance with hospital protocols and Epic EMR system.
