Dietary Aide

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Follow facility polices.
• Uses care with supplies and equipment.
• Participates in in-service programs.
• Obtains food and supplies as required.
• Assists in ordering, checking and storage of all supplies.
• Follows posted schedule and job assignments.
• Assists in serving meals and loading food carts.
• Assists in washing dishes according to procedure.
• Follows cleaning schedule
• . Assists in meal set-up.
• Follows standardized recipes.
• Performs other duties as required by Director of Dietary Services, Dietary manages and/or Administrator. 

Education and Training: 

Must be 18 years of age, graduated from high school or equivalent, should have one-years' experience working in quantity food preparation, preferably in a healthcare setting. During times of staffing stress, less experience may be acceptable.
