Description
We are looking for an experienced Firmware Developer to join a small, mission-impactful team building new and existing capabilities on firmware and embedded platforms. You'll work close to the metal—combining strong C programming skills with reverse engineering across diverse architectures to design, extend, and analyze firmware for high-impact use cases.
This is hands-on, deeply technical work in a small team where your contributions directly shape the capability roadmap.
Responsibilities
Design and develop new firmware-level capabilities and extend existing ones.
Perform analysis and reverse engineering of firmware and embedded components across multiple architectures.
Write production-grade C code targeting constrained and embedded environments.
Investigate device and firmware behavior, document findings, and turn them into actionable engineering work.
Collaborate with subject matter experts, fellow developers, and end users on requirements, prototypes, and refinements.
Contribute to code reviews, technical documentation, and design discussions.
Skills Requirements
Strong proficiency in C programming.
Reverse engineering experience across diverse architectures (e.g., ARM, MIPS, x86).
Comfort working in Linux-based development environments.
Familiarity with low-level debugging, embedded toolchains, and platform internals.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Haves
Experience with vulnerability research.
Experience analyzing or developing firmware in a production context.
Familiarity with firmware extraction and analysis (e.g., binwalk, Ghidra, IDA Pro, radare2).
Experience with exploit development.
Experience with C++, Rust, or Go for embedded or systems work.
Atlassian Tools (Jira, Confluence) and Git/GitLab workflows.
