Assistant Accounting Manager

The Accounting Associate plays a critical role within a medium-sized accounting team, supporting accurate financial reporting and reconciliation activities. This position reports directly to the Accounting Manager and involves detailed work essential to maintaining financial integrity and compliance with accounting standards.

Responsibilities

• Prepare and analyze financial reports to ensure accuracy and completeness.
• Perform bank reconciliations to verify transactions and resolve discrepancies.
• Accurately enter financial data into accounting systems and maintain records.
• Assist with audit preparation by gathering necessary documentation and supporting schedules.
• Apply GAAP principles in daily accounting tasks to ensure compliance.
• Conduct financial reconciliation to ensure ledgers are accurate and balanced.

Preferred Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year experience in accounting roles.
• Associate Degree in Accounting or a related field.
• Comprehensive understanding of GAAP standards.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel for financial modeling and reporting.
• Strong attention to detail to ensure data accuracy.
• Excellent communication skills for effective team collaboration.
• Effective time management to meet deadlines and prioritize tasks.
