Elford is seeking an experienced Project Executive to lead large-scale Commercial & Industrial construction projects from preconstruction through completion. This is a senior leadership role responsible for building strong client relationships, developing high-performing teams, and ensuring projects are delivered safely, on schedule, within budget, and to the highest quality standards.
As a Project Executive, you'll provide strategic oversight for multiple projects while partnering with operations, estimating, field leadership, and executive leadership to drive operational excellence and support continued business growth.
Key Responsibilities- Provide executive leadership for multiple commercial and industrial construction projects.
- Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, design partners, subcontractors, and internal teams.
- Lead project strategy from preconstruction through closeout, ensuring successful planning, execution, and delivery.
- Oversee project budgets, schedules, staffing, risk management, and overall financial performance.
- Mentor and develop Project Managers while fostering collaboration across project teams.
- Partner with estimating and preconstruction teams during pursuits, budgeting, and project planning.
- Identify and resolve project challenges while maintaining client satisfaction and operational excellence.
- Ensure compliance with company safety standards, quality expectations, and regulatory requirements.
- Support business development efforts by cultivating existing client relationships and identifying new opportunities.
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management, Engineering, Architecture, or a related field preferred.
- 10+ years of progressive commercial construction experience, including leadership of large, complex projects.
- Proven success managing multiple commercial and industrial construction projects simultaneously.
- Strong financial acumen with experience managing project budgets, forecasting, and overall project performance.
- Experience leading and developing high-performing project teams.
- Excellent communication, leadership, negotiation, and relationship-building skills.
- Working knowledge of construction management software such as Procore, Primavera P6, Microsoft Project, or similar platforms.
- Commitment to safety, quality, and delivering exceptional client service.
