Job Description
Join a growing custom industrial automation manufacturer that designs and builds advanced production equipment for customers across a wide range of industries. We're looking for a dependable, hands-on Shipping & Crate Builder to help prepare high-value machinery for safe shipment around the world.

Responsibilities
- Build custom wood crates and skids for industrial machinery and equipment
- Measure, cut, and assemble lumber using hand and power tools
- Secure equipment for domestic and international shipments
- Assist with packaging, labeling, and preparing freight shipments
- Operate forklifts, pallet jacks, and overhead cranes (training available if needed)
- Read basic drawings, dimensions, and shipping instructions
- Inspect completed crates to ensure equipment is protected during transit
- Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
- Work closely with production and shipping teams to meet delivery schedules
Qualifications
- Previous experience in crate building, carpentry, shipping, warehouse, construction, or manufacturing preferred
- Comfortable using saws, drills, nail guns, impact drivers, and other shop tools
- Ability to read a tape measure accurately
- Forklift experience is a plus
- Able to lift up to 50–75 pounds as needed
- Strong attention to detail and pride in producing quality work
- Reliable attendance and positive attitude
