Patient Services Representative/Medical Receptionist/Healthcare Admin

Job Summary:

We are seeking a Patient Services Representative to support patient registration, scheduling, insurance verification, referrals, and front-office patient services in an outpatient medical setting.

Required Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED
• Flu vaccination required; no exceptions or declinations
• 1 year of recent experience in an outpatient clinic or medical office
• Experience with medical insurance, referrals, and benefit plans
• Ability to understand and respond to detailed oral and written instructions

Preferred Qualifications

• 2+ years of recent Patient Services Representative experience
• CS-Link/Epic experience
• Knowledge of medical terminology

Key Responsibilities

• Serve as the primary point of contact for patients in person and by phone.
• Greet patients, address concerns, and escalate issues when appropriate.
• Check patients in/out, collect co-payments, provide receipts, and reconcile payments.
• Verify patient demographics and insurance information in CS-Link/Epic.
• Schedule appointments and complete patient registration.
• Process and track referrals and authorizations.
• Handle patient and provider correspondence.
• Explain policies, procedures, and services to patients.
• Sanitize workspaces according to department guidelines.
