Variety of manual tasks l
Key responsibilities
- Site preparation:
Clean up the construction site, remove debris and trash, and dig trenches or compact earth as needed. - Material and equipment handling:
Load, unload, and move building materials, tools, and equipment to where they are needed. - Assisting skilled trades:
Help electricians, plumbers, carpenters, and other skilled workers with their tasks. - Equipment operation:
Operate light machinery and hand/power tools, and assist with heavy equipment when required. - Safety and maintenance:
Follow all safety protocols, maintain a clean and organized worksite, and perform general maintenance on tools and equipment
Qualifications
- Ability to perform physically demanding tasks for long periods.
- Strong physical strength and stamina.
- Ability to work as part of a team and follow directions.
- Willingness to learn and perform various tasks.
- A high school diploma or GED is often preferred.
- Must have valid driver's license
