Compensation: $23/hr.-$25/hr.

We partnered with our established client, local to the Richardson, TX area, on their Accounts Receivable Lien Specialist opening!

In this role, you will be the backbone of the lien release process—verifying payment statuses, drafting and releasing proper lien waivers, and coordinating preliminary notices. If you love clean data, accurate workflows, and keeping commercial accounts moving, this is the place for you.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the Lien Release Inbox: Serve as the primary point of contact for daily lien release requests, ensuring fast, accurate turnaround times.
  • Payment Research & Waiver Execution: Research job accounts to verify payment status and execute appropriate lien waivers (Conditional, Unconditional, Partial, or Final). Prepare documents for scan, email, mail, or overnight delivery.
  • Lien Filings & Property Searches: Enter preliminary notices and lien filings into our third-party lien management portal as requested by Credit Analysts. Submit property owner search requests as needed.
  • Customer Data Integrity: Input and update new customer contact details and email addresses in our credit management database.
  • Joint Checks & Refunds: Complete joint check acknowledgment letters and audit/verify customer refund checks for proper approvals prior to release.
  • Returned Mail Resolution: Proactively contact customers to obtain updated addresses for returned mail and route corrected details to internal maintenance teams.
  • Department Mail Handling: Sort and distribute incoming mail daily. Prepare outgoing certified letters and demand letters, logging tracking information into the system.
  • Supply & Logistics: Monitor and order supplies for the department.
  • Team Support: Assist with other credit administration and departmental duties as assigned.

Qualifications

  • Education: High School Diploma or equivalent required.
  • Experience: 1–2+ years of administrative or credit experience, with direct experience handling lien waivers, releases, or preliminary notices.

Technical & Professional Skills

  • Lien Knowledge: Solid understanding of construction/commercial lien waivers, releases, and basic notice requirements.
  • Software Proficiency: Strong MS Office skills (Excel, Outlook, Word). Prior experience with Enterprise Resource Planning (ERP) systems, credit management platforms, or third-party lien management portals is highly preferred.
  • Detail & Speed: Exceptional accuracy and organization in high-volume, fast-paced environments.
  • Customer Service: Excellent verbal and written communication skills for clear, professional interaction with clients and internal teams.
