Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Caregiver to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a genuine passion for assisting others and possess the skills necessary to provide high-quality personal care and support. This role offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of seniors by delivering attentive, respectful, and professional care tailored to individual needs.

Responsibilities

  • Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and mobility support.
  • Monitor and observe patients’ health status, reporting any changes or concerns promptly to healthcare professionals.
  • Prepare nutritious meals in accordance with dietary plans and assist with meal consumption as needed.
  • Support clients with medication reminders and administration following proper protocols.
  • Maintain a clean and safe environment by performing light housekeeping tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and organizing living spaces.
  • Use specialized equipment such as Hoyer lifts or other assistive devices to safely transfer clients.
  • Provide companionship and emotional support to foster a positive environment for clients with dementia, Alzheimer’s, or other cognitive impairments.

Requirements

  • Prior experience working in home health, assisted living facilities, nursing homes, or group homes is highly desirable.
  • Knowledge of patient observation techniques, vital signs monitoring, and basic nursing procedures.
  • Experience working with individuals with developmental disabilities, autism, or memory care needs is advantageous.
  • Ability to perform heavy lifting and physical tasks safely while maintaining client dignity.
  • Familiarity with HIPAA regulations ensuring confidentiality of patient information.
  • Strong communication skills combined with patience, empathy, and professionalism.
