Job Title: Director of Analog Product and Test Engineering
Key Responsibilities
Leadership
- Lead and develop global Product Engineering and Test Engineering teams.
- Build a culture of accountability, innovation, continuous improvement, and technical excellence.
- Coach and mentor engineering managers and technical leaders.
Product Engineering
- Own product engineering activities from silicon bring-up through production release.
- Drive new product introduction (NPI) and manufacturing readiness.
- Ensure successful product characterization, qualification, and production ramp.
- Lead yield improvement, cost reduction, and quality enhancement initiatives.
- Manage product sustaining activities throughout the product lifecycle.
- Support customer issue resolution through root cause analysis and corrective actions.
Test Engineering
- Oversee NPI test developments and release of production test solutions.
- Improve test quality, throughput, coverage, and cost efficiency.
- Drive test time reduction and most cost-effective solutions.
- Support test transfers, outsourcing, and manufacturing scalability.
- Ensure robust production test coverage and continuous improvement.
Cross-Functional Collaboration
- Lead PTE team to closely work with IC Design, Systems Engineering, Package Engineering, Reliability, Quality, Fab and AT manufacturing sites on NPI and sustaining projects.
- Drive Design for Test (DFT) and Design for Quality (DFQ) cross-functional efforts.
- Drive cross-functional NPI execution and process optimization.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field (Master’s or Ph.D. preferred).
- 15+ years of semiconductor industry experience.
- 8+ years of engineering leadership experience managing global organizations.
- Strong understanding of semiconductor manufacturing, wafer fabrication, assembly, package qualification, and high-volume production.
- Experience with analog, power management, automotive, or high-performance semiconductor products.
- Proven success leading global cross-functional teams and complex product development programs.
