Job Description
We are seeking a reliable and motivated Appliance Delivery & Installation Technician to join our team. This role involves operating a 24–26 ft box truck (non-CDL) and safely delivering and installing household appliances.
While prior appliance installation experience is preferred, we provide paid, hands-on training for dependable candidates who are eager to learn and grow.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate a 24–26 ft box truck (non-CDL, under 26,000 GVWR)
- Deliver, handle, and install household appliances
- Ensure all installations meet manufacturer specifications and are fully functional
- Conduct pre-installation and post-installation inspections of customer homes
- Prevent property damage during delivery and installation
- Provide and maintain basic installation tools
- Communicate professionally with customers at all times
- Report any issues, damages, or incidents promptly to dispatch
Qualifications:
- Minimum 6 months experience driving a 24–26 ft box truck
- Valid driver’s license (Non-CDL – Class C or equivalent)
- Clean Motor Vehicle Record (minimum 3 years)
- Ability to lift 75+ lbs with assistance (team lift required)
- Strong work ethic and ability to work effectively in a two-person crew
(Helper provided by company) - Ability to pass background check and drug screening
Compensation:
- $900 – $1,080 per week (based on experience, based on 6 days work week)
- 1099 contractor position
- 6-day work schedule
- Paid training provided
Schedule:
- On-dock time: 5:30 AM – 6:00 AM
- Weekend availability required
