Overview

We are seeking dedicated Manual Unloaders to join our dynamic warehouse team. In this role, you will be responsible for efficiently unloading shipments, handling materials safely, and ensuring accurate inventory management. This position plays a vital part in maintaining smooth warehouse operations, supporting timely shipping and receiving processes, and upholding safety standards across all activities. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and a commitment to safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Safely unload incoming shipments using manual handling techniques and heavy equipment such as forklifts, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and cranes.
• Verify shipment contents against shipping documents and update inventory records accurately.
• Operate material handling equipment responsibly, including RF scanners, forklifts, and other warehouse machinery.
• Assist with order picking and loading tasks to prepare items for outbound shipments.
• Maintain a clean and organized work environment to promote safety and efficiency.
• Follow OSHA safety standards and company safety protocols during all unloading activities.
• Collaborate with warehouse supervisors and team members to optimize workflow and ensure timely delivery of goods.
• Perform manual lifting of heavy items while adhering to proper lifting techniques to prevent injury.
• Support shipping and receiving operations by accurately documenting inbound and outbound materials.
• Use basic math skills for counting, measuring, and verifying quantities during unloading processes.

Skills

• Proven experience in warehouse distribution or similar logistics environments.
• Familiarity with order picker operations, forklift driving, crane operation, and other heavy equipment handling.
• Strong knowledge of inventory management systems and materials handling procedures.
• Ability to operate RF scanners, pallet jacks, clamp trucks, and other material handling equipment safely.
• Experience with warehouse operations including shipping & receiving processes.
• Excellent manual handling skills with an emphasis on safety and proper technique.
• Basic math proficiency for inventory counts and measurements.
• Knowledge of OSHA safety standards relevant to warehouse activities.
• Previous experience in warehouse supervisor roles or overseeing logistics functions is a plus.
• Strong organizational skills with attention to detail in documentation and inventory accuracy.
