Cardiology Nurse Practitioner

Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with dynamic personality to join our team part-time. Candidate may be able to transition to full time if there is significant growth. The ideal candidate will have experience in cardiology or internal medicine, strong clinical judgment, and a patient-first approach.

Responsibilities

• Conduct cardiovascular assessments and follow-up visits
• Order, interpret, and review diagnostic tests (EKG, stress tests, labs)
• Develop treatment plans and provide patient education
• Collaborate closely with our cardiologists and medical staff
• Maintain accurate and timely charting in the EMR system

Qualifications

• Current NP or PA license in Virginia
• National certification (AANP, ANCC, or NCCPA)
• Previous experience in cardiology or related specialty preferred
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Commitment to high-quality, evidence-based patient care
