We are seeking an Activity Assistant to join our team at Heritage Senior Living of Marysville. In this role, you will play a vital part in enhancing the lives of our residents through engaging activities and social programs, contributing to their overall well-being and happiness.

Responsibilities

• Assist in planning and implementing recreational and social activities for residents.
• Encourage resident participation in daily activities to promote engagement and socialization.
• Provide support during activities, ensuring a safe and enjoyable environment.
• Collaborate with staff to assess resident needs and preferences for activity planning.
• Document participation and feedback from residents to improve future programming.
• Foster positive relationships with residents, families, and staff members.

Requirements

• Experience in senior care or related fields preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a passion for working with elderly individuals.
• Ability to plan and organize engaging activities tailored to resident interests.
• Compassionate approach with a focus on enhancing the quality of life for seniors.
• Basic understanding of dementia care principles is a plus.
• Must be able to work every Saturday
