Nurse Supervisor / Registered Nurse / Healthcare Manager

Job Summary:

The CNA/GNA/Caregiver is responsible for providing direct patient care and support under the supervision of nursing staff. This role assists patients with daily activities, monitors vital signs, and ensures a safe, clean, and comfortable environment for individuals in need of care.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist residents or patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), such as bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and feeding
• Measure and record vital signs (temperature, pulse, respiration, blood pressure, weight)
• Help patients with mobility, including transferring from beds to wheelchairs and repositioning
• Monitor and report changes in patient’s physical or emotional condition to nursing staff
• Ensure patient rooms are clean, organized, and safe
• Provide companionship and emotional support
• Assist with meal preparation and feeding if needed
• Maintain confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
• Follow infection control protocols and proper hygiene procedures
• Document care provided using appropriate systems or charts
• Participate in training and continuing education as required

Qualifications:

• Valid CNA or GNA certification (state-Maryland)
• CPR/First Aid certification
• Previous experience in caregiving or healthcare (preferred but not always required)
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable
• Physically able to lift, move, or support patients as needed

Work Environment:

• May work in hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living facilities, or private homes
• Requires physical effort including standing, walking, bending, and lifting
• May involve exposure to bodily fluids and infectious diseases

Schedule:

• Full-Time (33 hours per week-11 hrs. x3 days) Home Care Aide (Non-Benefit Eligible)
