In Home Caregiver

Overview
We are seeking compassionate and dedicated In-Home Caregivers to work privately for families as independent contractors.

Duties

• Assist clients with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
• Provide companionship and engage clients in social activities to promote mental well-being.
• Monitor and record vital signs, health status, and any changes in the client's condition.
• Administer medications as prescribed and assist with care plans tailored to individual needs.
• Prepare nutritious meals and assist with meal planning based on dietary requirements.
• Perform light housekeeping duties including cleaning, laundry, and maintaining a safe living environment.
• Support clients with mobility needs using equipment such as Hoyer lifts when necessary.
• Provide specialized care for individuals with Alzheimer’s, dementia, or developmental disabilities.
• Collaborate with healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care for clients.

Qualifications

• 5 years previous experience in home health care, assisted living, or long-term care settings is preferred.
• CNA is highly desirable
• Knowledge of first aid and CPR certification is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with patient monitoring techniques and vital signs assessment.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively with diverse populations.
• Ability to perform heavy lifting as required by client needs.
