1st shift Account Manager

Company Overview
Peopelink is looking for an Account Manager for a company that is a third-generation, family-owned manufacturer specializing in the casting and fabrication of high-temperature stainless steel tooling and maintenance parts used in industrial furnaces and ovens.

Pay - $26.00 an hour, Review at 6 months and at 1 year, with increase usually at that time if learning.

First shift - hours can flexible.

Must have math experience.

• Review customer Requests for Quotation (RFQs) and project specifications.
• Gather information from customers, sales representatives, and production staff to develop accurate cost estimates.
• Coordinate the creation of new product designs and reverse-engineered components.
• Prepare pricing and sales quotations for new and existing products.
• Calculate material costs, labor, and production requirements.
• Interpret production drawings and technical documentation.
• Utilize the company's ERP system (Visual Manufacturing) to support estimating and quoting activities.
• Communicate effectively with internal departments to ensure accurate and timely quotations.

• Strong basic math skills, including calculating:
  • Cost per pound ($/lb.)
  • Cost per square foot ($/ft²)
  • Material weights and units of measure (lbs./ft., lbs./ft²)
• Ability to read and interpret production drawings.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational skills.

• Experience with AutoCAD 2D.
• Experience with SolidWorks 3D modeling.
• Geometry knowledge.
• Associate's degree (2-year) in Mechanical Technology, Industrial Technology, Engineering Technology, or a related field.
