Materials & Audit Specialist – Swing Shift

Location: Greater Portland Area, OR
Pay: $19–$21/hour DOE
Schedule: Swing Shift | 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
Training Schedule: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

NOW HIRING – MATERIALS / AUDIT DEPARTMENT

A well-established contract manufacturer of printed circuit board assemblies (PCBA) serving customers throughout the greater Portland area. With more than 25 years in the industry, we provide flexible manufacturing solutions and rely on employees who are adaptable, detail-oriented, solutions-focused, and able to work in a fast-paced production environment.

We are looking for a highly detail-oriented Materials & Audit Specialist to join our team. This position is responsible for inventory, receiving, material verification, data entry, and maintaining accurate records.

We are being highly selective with candidates for this position.


Schedule

Regular Shift: 11:30 AM–8:00 PM
Training: 9:00 AM–5:30 PM

Candidates must be willing to work the swing shift after training.

Pay

$19–$21/hour, depending on:

  • Relevant experience

What You'll Do

During the first 30 days, you will receive training on inventory systems, receiving procedures, material verification, and related processes.


Responsibilities include:

  • Receive and process materials into the ERP/inventory system
  • Count and verify incoming materials
  • Review packing lists and compare information against received products
  • Verify quantities, part numbers, and other material information
  • Perform inventory and material audits
  • Enter and maintain accurate information in computer systems
  • Work with PCBA components and nomenclature
  • Read and follow written instructions, diagrams, and documentation
  • Identify discrepancies and communicate issues appropriately
  • Pick up and move boxes weighing up to 30 lbs.
  • Open and inspect packages
  • Stand, bend, crouch, and climb step ladders throughout the workday
  • Transition between tasks quickly while maintaining accuracy
  • Support additional Materials Department responsibilities as proficiency is demonstrated


Required Experience

  • Minimum 1 year of material handling experience
  • Experience working with ERP or inventory management systems
  • Familiarity with inventory interfaces and data entry
  • Familiarity with PCBA components and terminology
  • Familiarity with ESD PPE and safety protocols
  • Strong computer skills
  • Ability to navigate Microsoft Word and Excel
  • Understanding of common file types including .doc, .csv, and .pdf
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to read and follow written instructions and diagrams
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to stay focused while performing detailed, repetitive tasks
