Positive change begins from day one of treatment. BHAR is a specialized forensic treatment center focused on helping individuals who have committed sexual offenses. Located in southeastern Pennsylvania, BHAR offers outpatient therapy designed to support both offender rehabilitation and community safety. As an approved provider by the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania’s Sexual Offender Assessment Board (SOAB), BHAR offers treatment for Sexually Violent Predators (SVPs) and works closely with the Department of Corrections to ensure effective treatment outcomes.

Recognized as a trusted resource in the region, BHAR is committed to breaking cycles of abusive behavior. The center uses a multi-disciplinary approach that integrates BHAR staff, probation and parole agencies, and polygraph examiners to provide comprehensive care. BHAR’s forensic program focuses on helping clients understand the underlying thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that contribute to their offenses. The program is trauma-informed, recognizing the impact of past trauma while using evidence-based interventions to promote emotional regulation and long-term change.

BHAR is seeking a passionate and dedicated case manager interested in growing with the company. The case manager position is a full-time position, and it is critical to provide comprehensive treatment. The position consists of 40 hours/week, Monday through Friday, with some flexibility. Benefits include medical and dental after a 90-day probationary period. 10 days of PTO are offered after 6 months.

Qualified candidates will possess:

  • Minimum of a bachelor’s degree
  • Excellent written and oral skills
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office
  • Excellent time management skills
  • Demonstrate prompt communication practices

A comprehensive list of duties is listed below:

  • Maintain a caseload of 25-30 clients per week.
  • Timely completion of all written documentation in the electronic health records by the end of each working day.
  • Send an end-of-day email to clinical staff providing updates on all clients.
  • Provide support to clients with BHAR Book assignments
  • Provide assistance with psychoeducation around basic needs – (hygiene education, help finding employment, food, shelter, etc.)
  • Connect with resources and referrals within the county (housing, food pantry, mental health, etc.).
  • Update parole/probation with relevant updates, disclosures, etc.
  • Participate in weekly meetings with the Clinical Director.
