Phlebotomist I

Position: Phlebotomist I
Location: Tulsa, OK 74139 (May float between nearby sites as needed)
Duration: 3+ Months
Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM; Some Saturdays (8:00 AM-12:00 PM) as needed

Job Details

• Average Blood Draws: 30-60 per day
• Work Environment: Fast-paced, busy, and team-oriented
• Team Size: Primarily a two-person site; may occasionally work independently
• Training: 2 weeks
• Standing Requirement: Must be able to stand for extended periods
• Special Requirement: Pediatric phlebotomy experience required
• Floating: Must be willing to float between nearby locations as needed

Minimum Qualifications

• Minimum 6 months of recent phlebotomy experience in a fast-paced lab, hospital, or PSC
• Experience performing 30-60 blood draws per day
• Pediatric blood draw experience
• Proficient with straight and butterfly needles
• Experience with specimen processing (labeling, centrifuging, aliquoting/splitting, freezing, packaging)
• Knowledge of OSHA and specimen handling procedures
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office
• High School Diploma or GED
• Valid Phlebotomy Certification (where required by state law)
