The Allied Parts Inventory Analyst is responsible for supporting the daily planning, ordering, inventory control, and system accuracy of Allied parts while following established procedures and cost controls. The position works closely with the Inventory Control Supervisor and other departments to manage vendors, returns, transfers, reporting, and customer inquiries, while contributing to efficient operations and dealership goals.

- Maintains positive control on all allied parts expenses, audits and follows correct procedures for allied accounts.
- Plans, formally and informally, long and short range, on Allied Parts requirements; make recommendations to the Parts Inventory Manager.
- Oversee the management of Allied parts inventory for accuracy and provides necessary reports.
- Reviews and orders Allied stock.
- Reviews and orders Allied parts including issuing purchase orders.
- Sets up Allied parts orders in DBS (as required).
- Sets up new vendors and SOS s (as requested).
- Reviews and submits internal Allied stock transfers.
- Reviews and works temp and exhaust report.
- Reviews and works non-stock and made stock report.
- Works and submits Allied surplus returns.
- Assists Parts Inventory Manager with uploads of Allied parts price tapes and monitors for changes as needed.
- Generates parts queries.
- Supports other department/inventory control projects.
- Checks and responds to voice and emails.
- Ensures that Allied exchange and core returns parts business is managed properly and meets or exceeds dealership goals.
- Works closely with Parts Inventory manager in policy matters as pertains to the Allied parts operations.
- Ensures the best freight accommodation for customers Allied Parts purchases are in alignment with company objectives.
- Establishes and maintains close relationships with service department supervisors and parts supervisors in other stores.
- Manages customer communications and resolves customer complaints and issues pertaining to Allied Parts.
- Work with Parts Inventory and Operations Managers to assess training needs and schedule Allied parts training for respective training classes and factory schools.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
- Related experience preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to identify and resolve problems in a timely manner.
- Gather and analyze information skillfully; develop alternative solutions; work well in group problem solving situations; use reason and facts when dissecting issues.
- Excellent interpersonal, written and oral communication skills.
- Strong work ethic and self-starter. Able to effectively manage multiple tasks/priorities and adapt to change.

- Superior planning and organizational skills with the ability to prioritize and manage multiple and often competing priorities.

- Advanced Microsoft computer skills software experience required.
