Shipping Clerk

Shift - 1st 7:00 - 3:30pm

1st Shift Monday through Friday

Responsibilities:
* Assemble, address, stamp, and ship merchandise or material
* Unpack, verify, and record incoming merchandise or material
* Arrange appropriate transportation of products
* Assist customers with shipping inquiries
* Perform other administrative duties as assigned
* Able to drive a forklift
* Maintaining inventory when needed
Qualifications:
* Previous experience in shipping, logistics, or other related fields
* Must be able to understand and read written instructions and or directions in work related documents.
* Great work ethic
* Excellent customer service
* Good understanding on tools of the trade (e.g. - scales, packing slips, invoices, orders, forklifts, dollies, thermal label printer for UPS and FedEx, shrink wrap machine, etc.)
* Knowledge of simple operations in windows based computer environment, preferred in JobBOSS.
* Math skills: Basic
* Ability to handle physical workload
* Ability to multitask and prioritize
* Ability to thrive in fast-paced environment
* Strong organizational skills
