Express Employment Professionals are looking for a Forklift and Heavy Equipment Operator for a recycling plant located in Depew, NY. This is an excellent temp-to-hire opportunity!

Shift: Monday-Friday 6:00am-4:30pm

Pay Rate: $19.00/hr

Job Responsibilities:

• Run heavy machinery (skid steer/forklift) to move, stockpile, load, and feed recyclable materials into conveyor systems.
• Sort, grade, and manually handle specialty materials according to quality standards and team goals.
• Conduct pre-shift equipment checks, complete paperwork, and immediately report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Assist with receiving incoming loads, directing facility traffic, and maintaining clean, safe work areas.
• Strictly follow environmental regulations, company policies, and look out for pedestrian and vehicle traffic.

Qualifications:

• Proven forklift and/or skid steer or heavy machinery experience
• High School Diploma
• Reliable transportation
