Qualifications & Desired Experience:

  • Special Education Teacher certification (required)
  • Experience or genuine interest in working with preschool-aged children
  • Skill in supporting students with cognitive delays
  • Flexible and adaptive teaching strategies
  • Ability to travel between sites within a 5-mile radius

Responsibilities:

  • Serve a preschool caseload of students (exact number and site locations to be confirmed)
  • Address the specific needs of children with cognitive delays
  • Provide individualized and group instruction as needed
  • Collaborate with staff and families to support student goals
  • Keep records and evaluate student progress
  • Work on an as-needed basis between August 31 and May 20
