Desired Qualifications & Experience:
- Active RN license in good standing
- At least one year of recent experience in Stepdown or Progressive Care Unit (PCU)
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications
- Excellent critical thinking and communication skills
- Familiarity with electronic medical records and evidence-based care
Responsibilities:
- Provide compassionate and skilled nursing care to patients transitioning from critical to stable conditions in the Stepdown/PCU setting
- Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary care teams to manage and monitor patient progress
- Administer medications, interpret labs, monitor vital signs, and document care accurately
- Support patients and families with education and advocacy
- Uphold safety standards and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives
