Volt is immediately hiring for An Accountant  in Pittsburgh, PA.

 

 

As an Accountant you will:

 

• Support the full accounting cycle, from transaction processing through month-end close, consolidation, and financial reporting
• Prepare and post journal entries, accruals, intercompany transactions, and account
• Perform complex account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure financial accuracy
• Support audits, special projects, ad hoc reporting requests, and process improvement initiatives
• Contribute to ERP and financial systems initiatives, including process documentation and implementation support
• Track and support team performance metrics while gaining exposure to multiple business lines and global operations

Qualifications

• Bachelor 's degree, preferably in accounting or finance; or equivalent work
• Accounting experience in financial services preferred 
• Experience working the full accounting cycle from transaction through consolidation and close to financial reporting.
• Experience with accounting applications such as PeopleSoft.

• Experience with direct customer contact, answering business inquiries.

• Financial services or public accounting experience preferred

 

This is a Contract Opportunity

4 Days Onsite

9:00AM - 5:00PM

Pay Rate: $25.00 - 45.00 per hour based on skill level
