Qualifications and Experience:
- Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology from an accredited program
- Current SLP licensure or eligibility in New York State
- ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) or Clinical Fellowship Year (CFY) candidates encouraged to apply
- Experience with elementary-aged students or pediatrics preferred
- Skills in teletherapy and traditional school-based SLP services beneficial
- Strong communication and collaboration skills with staff, families, and students
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct speech-language therapy to elementary school students in individual and group settings
- Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop student-centered treatment plans
- Participate in IEP meetings, deliver progress updates, and maintain accurate records
- Collaborate closely with teachers, families, and other specialists to maximize student success
- Engage in a team environment dedicated to student growth and district support initiatives
